I joined the family business in January 1997, taking on the roll of sales representative. Having plied the embroidery trade for the preceding 4 years in the United Kingdom and Australia, I hit the ground running and soon added to the already healthy and established embroidery clientele.
Over the years, I worked my way up to where I find myself now, involved with an enthusiastic and loyal team of super-motivated individuals that make up Sportsbadge Embroiderers.

I joined Monograms as a young school leaver in 1987. My first position was as an embroidery trimmer where I spent many an hour with scissor in hand cleaning the embroideries as they came off the production lines. My next move within Monograms was to the accounts office where I did debit control and then moved across and became the company receptionist.
In 1996 Sporstbadge purchased Monograms from a company called Saphi and that is where the Sporstbadge Embroiderers t/a Monograms team was forged. I have never looked back and am now your trusted Sales Representative offering top quality embroidery at decent prices. Some people say Safety First, my motto is Service First !!

Having worked in the footwear industry for 3 years, I joined Monograms in 1988 when the company was owned by South African Pith Helmet Industries (SAPHI). In those days we used the old method of jacquard and tape embroidery. We ran 6 x Barudan multi-head embroidery machines and we used to do all the work for the old South African Defence Force.
In 1996 when Sportsbadge and Monograms joined forces I focused my sales energy into school and fashion embroidery where my strength still lies. I have always been involved on the sales side of embroidery and am committed to my customers ensuring that we deliver top quality embroidery and the best available price.
